Additional materials for the relational model

      Since it's a little too difficult for me to understand the paper written by E.F.Codd, I've searched the Internet for more information. Problem with the XAMPP

Hello, everyone! I'm in trouble with the XAMPP now.I eagerly hope anyone can help me with this problem.1. The XAMPP in my computer is different from the one described by Wenhao and Ruidian, the version of the one I install is 1.7.7, and its interface is different.I cannot keep running the Apache, but there isn't a "setup" as Ruidian said.So, how can I keep running the Apache?             2. When I start the MySql, and click the "Admin", there is another mistake I encounted.I really don't know what's wrong with my computer or my setting.But I can open the http://localhost as below:And after click the "欢迎", it becoms: What's the problem? I really need help from any of you! Thank you very much!!! Hope someone can help me with my problem!Continue

Use WordPress Based on XAMPP

These are toubles when I tried to use WordPress through XAMPP.I solved them finally, and I wrote them down here. If you face the same problem, you can deal with it as what I did.If you face a new problem and no matter wheather you make it at last or not, you can also share your experience here. 1 After we install XAMPP and download WordPress. We should know what to do next. I searched a video:http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjU3MDYwOTM2.html  You can just follow it step by step. 2 You should run XAMPP, and keep both Apache and MySQL running in a certain step according to the radio. But maybe you cannot acheive it.If it said "busy...".This means some programs are using Port 80. You should run "cmd". Enter "netstat -ano", find xx.xx.xx.80 in "Local address", and remember their PID. Then use Crtl+Alt+Delete for task manager, click "View"->"Select volume"->"PID"->"OK". And find those procedures using Port 80 and close them. 3 If your Apache and MySQL can't keep running, just blink for a short while, and it said "warning: terminating worker thread 1."You should do as follows: click "Setup" on the right side of XAMPP Control Panel Application. Then input "6"(disable mod_perl). Push "Enter", then problem solved. Then you can enjoy your WordPress. (Follow the video).Thanks to my teammates' discussion for problems and solutions.Continue

Hello guys~~After the first Data Base lecture, I have been trying to set up the softwares recommended by Professor Gu~~such as evernote and Dropbox. But~~there is always connection problem when I am seting up. I have used a proxy to get over the wall, but it doesn't work out~~ What is the problem? Anyone have the same problems?Continue
