ICRA是美国两个机器人相关领域的顶级会议之一,今年全球近2000人来到圣保罗River Center参加ICRA,展示最新的研究成果和工业产品.
在学术成果的报告之余,会议展览厅有众多非常吸引眼球的机器人展示,它们涵盖了机器人研究的许多领域,例如Da Vinci Surgery,NAO 人形机器人,NASA的国际空间站机器人.对于其中很多产品,我都亲自领教了一下,十分高兴.
总体说来,我有几个感受.第一,传统的机械和信号控制的研究已经趋于完备,机器人的发展更多依赖于与计算机视觉,人工智能的结合.以往的机械臂,流水线装配机器人都加入了视觉的元素,使它们更加智能和高效.第二,更多的新奇的想法正在逐步成为现实.例如Harry Asada(MIT Mechanical Engineering)培育能够用光照控制运动的肌肉组织而代替机械动力结构,虽然能量利用效率还很低(小于10%),但实验的成果已经足够让人称赞.第三,新型的机器人已经逐渐开始产业化,NAO,DarWin,Da…
